This beer is a collaborative effort together with our good friends—and world class brewers—at Buxton Brewery (UK).
Yellow Belly—a person who is without courage, fortitude, or nerve; a coward.
To us, one of the most cowardly deeds is to act anonymously, hiding behind a group. A signifying trait of institutionalized racism.
This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. A peanut butter biscuit stout with no biscuits, butter or nuts. Taste, enjoy, and don’t be prejudiced.

Pitch black, thick, light+ creamy tan head. Aroma is of chocolate and peanut butter, some roasty notes, bit toffee. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, toffee, chocolate, peanut butter, nutty, bit dark fruit, roasty bitterness, bittersweet finish. Full bodied, soft to flat carbonation, thick-creamy. (Bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Bottle shared with my family, courtesy of my brother. Aroma is very layered with loads of different flavours. Lots of vanilla, biscuits, Tonka, chocolate, coffee. Lovely, a liquid dessert. Big body, thickish body. Flavour is again loads of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, in general lovely roastiness. Very bitter. Biscuity and very rich. Amazing.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with beige-tan head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, rich mocha-peanut butter taste with alcohol undertones, full body, long finish with strong alcohol aftertaste. Rich and tasty.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter engelsk lakris, smørmalt drops og sjokoladekakerøre. Fyldig. Smaker søt engelsk lakris, toffee,mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Lang, noe salt i avslutningen. (Omnipollo Soft Serve Sabbath Sunday, Schouskjelleren)

Solid thick oily pastry stout this one.
Nice solid aroma. Pleasant sit and sniff for a while. Not to sweet texture and a quite decent masked alcohol level. Boozy but not sticky alcohol coming up. Bready (pastry), vanilla, dark malt, chocolate and some spices in the flavor. Fine complexity. Nice evening sipper.

Tap at MCBT. Deep inky black with a maple aroma while the taste is molasses, maple and a fruity toffee like flavor. Smoothly good. 3.9
