This beer is a collaborative effort together with our good friends—and world class brewers—at Buxton Brewery (UK).
Yellow Belly—a person who is without courage, fortitude, or nerve; a coward.
To us, one of the most cowardly deeds is to act anonymously, hiding behind a group. A signifying trait of institutionalized racism.
This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. A peanut butter biscuit stout with no biscuits, butter or nuts. Taste, enjoy, and don’t be prejudiced.

Bottle from Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown with a little sliver of translucency. No head. Peanuts and sesame seeds in the aroma with chunks of naked alcohol. Doesn't try to hide the ABV, but rather flies is loud and proud. Sweet taste with a rounded nutty fruitiness. Some berry-like sourness in the finish. Heavy bitterness lies on the tongue like an unconfessed crime. Thick, syrupy body with very light carbonation. Lives up to the hype.

Bottle. Almost black, a tan head is soon less than a coat. Aroma of cheesecake base, vanilla, mocha syrup. 7+ Oily, lowish carbonation. Sweet, but not so much as expected from the aroma. Much less nutty-seeming than the BA version. Despite the pastry overtones, there's a stout with roasted notes and then quite firm but not jolting bitterness that bosses the palate. After a while it does seem rather sweet.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 34C/20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch B496 (BBF 11AUG21). BOTTLE: medium-high artificial aroma of peanut, chocolate and biscuit. APPEARANCE: very dark brown to black and opaque. medium brown head with good retention. leg formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high notes of biscuit, dark chocolate and slight peanut. medium bitterness with a medium-sweet finish that evolves to slightly roasty and almost dry. PALATE: full body with medium-low carbonation. smooth alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a beer that only has beer-related notes at the end of the tasting.

Tasting at Matt's
Black colour. Strong aroma of peanut butter chocolate. Sweet liquid chocolate, some weird peanut butter, definitively the alcohol is doing something, bit of fusels.
Excessive, and messy, but I like sweet massive Imperial Stouts.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is loaded with peanut butter, sort of artificial tasting, with light cocoa and a touch of roast. Flavour brings out vibrant peanut butter flavouring, with light cocoa and toasted peanuts. Lots of sweet peanut butter. Somehow, it's highly artificial tasting, but still immensely convincing and satisfying. Excellent.
