12 oz bottle thanks to my buddy Matt B. In his recent SC trip. The color is a clear Amber with quickly disappearing head leaving little in the glass. Aroma is toasted malt and traces of grain.

Lighter in body (borderline watery) with a lower carbonation level. Like most Amber ales the flavor just doesn’t have much going on. This one has a toasted grain base with caramel/ butterscotch hint. Bitterness is very weak without any hop flavor, just simply bitter. Nothing against this brew per say but it’s the style itself I find boring and completely uninteresting at this point.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Growler’s Craft Beer & Ales in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed gold orange with an off white head. The aroma is dirty toast malt, and a bit of chemical sweetness in the back. The taste is basically the nose, with dirty malt up front and the weird synthetic sweet in back. The chemical dirty really lingers. The palate is light bodied, a bit watery, tasted like it may have had a bit of an infection.

Enjoyed from bottle while eating at Coast Bar & Grill in Charleston, SC. Appearance a clear moderate amber with a thin white head. Aroma mostly malty, light caramel. Taste is decent, mainly malty, very similar to fat tire with out the crisp finish.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of afausser. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a medium sized offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy malts, caramel, some nutty notes, some tropical fruit notes and a bit of a chemical-detergent note in the finish. The taste is nuts, caramel, a bit of cotton candy and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied with assertive carbonation. Decent beer.

Light brown, reddish. Low head. Sweet enough, but good background dryness. Earthy and grassy, with a good bitter finish, though again not much hop aroma. Interesting and decent.

Bottle. Light toffee malt and straw aroma. Amber color with small head. Mildly sweet nutty toffee malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. This is a re-rate. Not nearly as sweet as it was 10 years ago. Much improved.

Great slightly hazy darker amber colour with a very thin white head that fades away quickly. Regardless, a nice looking beer. Strong aroma packs a powerful malt, hop, nutty and definate astringent aroma. Medium-bodied; Good balance of hops & malt in the taste with both flavours fading off into nothing pretty quickly. Aftertaste a bit bittered from the hops and a bit shallow from the emptiness the taste left behind. Overall, a decent Amber, and one that is quite a bit different than the norm, so it scores decent marks! I got this twelve ounce bottle today (i've got to drink it fresh!) from Matt A. (Mabdoney) in Florida! Thanks again Matt :-)
