One of our favorite beer styles returns, and JUST MIGHT continue on fairly regularly.
As the winter starts to wind down, our NEED for thick dark beers starts to wane as well. It's right around that time that we find ourselves instinctively reaching for that ever-present dry Irish stout we all know. The combo of cold-weather flavors with a dry, lighter presentation just hits all the right spots.
We've been refining this recipe over the past few years and think we really hit our targets this year. The low ABV, dry composition pairs with a deceptively luscious mouthfeel that all builds up to the baker's chocolate, roasted coffee, and creamy maltiness that Augury brings. Having it on the nitro tap makes it far too easy to come back for another pint. Please don't judge us.

12 oz can from Oakflower, 7/3/26. Pours a dark brown with a creamy light brown head, and some streaky lace. Malty, chocolate, grains, earth. Smooth, more full bodied than expected, but still easy drinking. Flavorful, highly drinkable. No complaints.
