A traditional session best bitter. Brewed with ale malts, wheat and a hint of chocolate malts, and hopped with the vastly underrated Bobek hops

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden brown with a small scummy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma has traditional hops and nuts plus a trace of honeycomb. In the mouth it is basically bitter but with a little underlying sweetness and a creamy texture. Flavour is mainly mixed hops and autumn fruits (mainly mushy apples) with traces of malts and caramel coming later leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent – packs plenty of punch for its strength.
