It's fair season, and nothing quite tops off a day at the fairgrounds like an ice-cold Lemon Shake-Up. A simple blonde ale with a touch of Citra hops is the base for this beer, and 44 pounds of lemon puree was added mid-fermentation to achieve the vibe of this fair classic.

Golden yellow with moderate head. Lemon, plastic, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Mildly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body - plastic aftertaste - chlorophenol issues.
