MET supermarket bottle ($4.80): I think my bottle might have had some problems... looking at the below reviews, there seem to be the people who claim this beer had a head and those who claim that it did not. I would have to be counted in the latter for it seemed to be as though the beer was almost entirely lacking in carbonation. Indeed, with the pale gold color of the body, it seemed as if I was pouring myself a glass of cider. In any case, the aroma from the bottle was sugary and floral. The beer itself was smooth at the from and then further to the back and finish it disclosed a fair amount of bitterness and British hopping. Along with the hops I managed to detect some citrus and grainy notes. Again I should note that I am not sure if the defects of this beer were the fault of the bottle or of the brewer.

Bottled 500ml. -Golden coloured, small off-white head, touch of caramel in rather dusty nose. Moderate malty, weak hoppy and caramel with notes of fruits and nuts. Watery palate; no real bitterness.

Nice bottle. Clear golden, no head. Aroma of lowers and grass. Full bodied, taste of light malt with mild citrus background, and dominant hops throughout. Not technically an ale, with the hops as prominent as they are - better classed as a bitter. The nicest organic beer Iโve tried.

16.9 oz bottle enjoyed at Blanc Burgers + Bottles in Leawood, Kansas. They poured this into a Shaker Pint. Pour is hazy orange and gold with only a few soapy cream bubbles on the top - this was mostly due to how the waiter poured it. Why wonโt places either A) learn how to pour a beer - or - B) Not get so offended if I ask to pour my own beer? The aroma is softly toasty biscuit malt, very natural and fresh smelling. Behind that is some hay and straw, though that is very mild. Aroma presence is very mild, what is there is floral. The taste is initially very flat and watery tasting, though, I almost immediately adjusted and began to enjoy this. The flavor is mostly the grainy, toasty, biscuit sweet malt of the nose, with some ever so mild but pleasant floral hop bitterness. There is earthiness and straw and hay near the finish. The palate, as mentioned, was almost entirely flat, medium to thin, the graininess gave it body. Overall, a nice drinkable beer.

(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a short but creamy and dense off-white foam. Limey and spicy hoppy aroma with a well blended, minimal toasty malt-character. Bitter flavour with a light malty sweetness, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft malt-character with a good dash of aromatic hops; bitter and slightly fruity finish. A likeable standard Ale (04.VII.09).

Sampled from a 16.9 oz green bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a trace of a white head that quickly faded. The aroma was sour and tangy basic ale but also seemed a bit light struck. The flavor was bitter, sour and tart floral hops and a touch of nut but slightly light struck. Unimpressive.
