Lovely golden colour on this one. Weird smell, a bit toffee like. Reminds me of Innis & Gunn. Taste is a bit light, light body. Bit boring. Light hint of toffee but not as much as in the smell. Mouthfeel is very light. A boring beer. The bottle is lovely though.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours deep golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Aroma is light grain, very little lacing, medium carbonation, and medium smooth body. Taste is light malt biscuit, some grass, and a hint of hops in the finish. A little disapointing.

Awesome old-timey bottle. Sucked me in, because usually the words "Organic English Ale" are as appealing to me as "Roasted Opossum Tits." Looks rough, copper colored and flat, and smells like an English Heineken, with an unpleasant skunky front matched by a fruity, funky back. Tastes green and bready and British. Slightly tart, but also metallic with a pilsner-like bitterness. Not awful, but disconcerting. (3/17/09)

from Voldby Købmandsgaard clear orange, smooth white head. caramelly, malty, sourish flowery aroma, that note like it was hopped a lot, but you can’t really smell it. flavor is caramelly, malty, spicy flowery, dry, good composition with well balanced drynes and bitterness to the huge malty and quite caramelly base. Yet i must admit the total is a little too sweet for me to consider it really refreshing. The beer palate is very smooth.

Bottle sampled at the World Beer Festival Richmond, 6/12/10. Pours a brown color with a slight haze. Medium sized head with decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy, floral hops with some sweet malty notes. The taste is bitter, leafy hops with light malty notes. Medium bodied.

0.5 l bottle, thanks to Doggythedog for sharing! It poured golden body with small head. Sweetish, honey malty aroma with a bit of citrus fruits. Fine flavor, nice sweetish malty, a bit honeyish and flowery. Medium bodied with candy sweet finish, but not too much really. Typical golden ale, simple, but fine enough.

Bottle from Vrutak in Zagreb, shared with heavy. Poured a very dark golden body with a tiny white head that went away fast. Malty, lemony nose, quite light. The body is similar, light and balanced with slightly candyish lemony notes leading the way and some maltiness showing through with some flowery notes. Nice & pleasant but relatively boring. Wouldn’t mind having it again.
