Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces beautifully. Aroma has a good amount of very dark chocolate with a bit of roasted malts and a hint of bitter dark grains. Flavor starts with strong roasted malts that lasts throughout the beer and is joined by dark chocolate.
