Bottle from Domus Birrae in Rome. Pours hazy dark amber with a slight beige head. Strong mixed hop aroma. Earth seems predominate. Med body or better. Flavor is a roasty malt backbone with a lot of hop - citrus, resin, earth, floral. It’s hoppy and bitter, but gives only a moderate hop burn. Nice break from citrus bombs.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, fruits, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wet hay, malt, caramel, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with some floating impurities and a lacing off-white head. Lovely fresh citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a little sweet peachy fruit and then again a very fresh shot of good aroma hops leaving a dry but not overly bitter finish. 130612
