About a year ago we brewed a beer with our friends at Hop Butcher for the World. A rustic little beer hi-lighting crystal rye from Sugar Creek Malt. We took that beer and laid it down on Balaton Cherries for about 9 moths before bottle conditioning it for a month. Balaton cherries are a tart cherry that are know for their dark and leathery fruitiness and they added a beautiful depth and subtle red hue to the base Country Beer.
