Can to snifter.
Appearance: murky dark copper color with a slim foamy white head which slid off extremely quick, no lace
Aroma: lots of strawberry tart and semi-sour whiffs and an underlying sweet strawberry accent rising mildly and a super light yeasty sweet almost bready note; super hard to pick up but there is rhubarb and man oh man - I believe one really has to let this beer "air out" enough to eventually find that rhubarb
Flavor: mixes on up the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet sour character; finishes somewhat like strawberries mixed in yogurt
Texture: light to medium bodied; slightly sessionable; light smoothness as some tartness clenches the tongue as I had hoped it would; good carb level
Overall: though this beer is mostly about the strawberries, what is nice is how the lacto seems to take the flavor as the lead department in this beer. I would return to this.
