Opah is a classic West Coast IPA; an amber coloured beer with a comforting malty body and an expressive bitter. The copious amounts of classic and modern American hops deliver a nostalgic citrusy piney punch. It is an ode to the beer our crafty grandparents brewed with so much passion and love and inspired us to try it for ourselves.

Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of red berries, fruity hops, pretty sure the strawberry ice cream hop is making an appearance, and caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours a clear deep amber colour and a dense off white head with long retention. Aroma's of caramel malt, fruit and herbal hops. Retronasal follows this, perhaps light buttery (diacetyl?). Flavour is above moderate bitter but with a solid malty sweet backbone. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Above moderate bitter finish. More of this please.

Hoppig, bitter, fris, een beetje zacht en nog een klein beetje moutig. Simpel maar lekker.

LCI. Gek als je een Barbaartje verwacht vanwege gouden blik.

Can. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, frothy off-white head. Aroma: Piney and citrus hop with malty background. Taste: Mix of caramel malt and piney and citrusy hop. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Starting somewhat more to the malty side and going to a far more hoppy, medium bitter finish with malty background. One point extra for the nice, very long lasting, dry and bitter piney and lightly resinous hoppy finish.
