Built in the tradition of classic English-style bitters, this beer pours a rich amber with a balanced malt profile and gentle hop character, but despite the style name it’s not a bitter beer in any modern sense. The focus is on smooth drinkability over bite. Light caramel and toasted biscuit notes lead the way, with an extremely soft, restrained hop presence that stays well in the background rather than asserting bitterness. At 4.7%, it’s endlessly drinkable without disappearing into nothing. It’s familiar, dependable, and exactly what it says it is: a proper pub beer.
