Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle best by July 2017 from mikeq215 poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy medium brown with big light brown highlights with medium off-white head. Aroma is milk chocolate, medium body, medium carbonation, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is milk chocolate, esters, and banana. Nice dunkleweizen.

12 ounce bottle. Translucent brown pour topped by a small creamy beige head. Unusual aroma of yeast, wheat and cocoa. Tangy malt with roasted notes. Quite unusual as Bavarian style wheat beers go. Some overripe banana in finish.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: pours close to black with a beige head. Aroma is light chocolate, fruit, and sour malt. I do not know if this is actually supposed to be like that or if it be spoiled. In any case it tasted like a dunkelweizen then had a bland and weak sour finish. Not a huge fan.

12oz bottle thanks to eelbasher
Pours cloudy dark brown with a medium sized tan head and some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, wheat, spices and chocolate. Flavors of toasted malts, dark fruit, bitter and tart
OK, but wouldn’t want another.

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Cloudy dark brown with an enormous fluffy beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel, toasted malt, somewhat roasty, fruit esters and a bit of spiciness. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, toastiness, yeast, fruits, light tartness and a toasty/roasty and somewhat spicy finish. Way over-carbonated. Decent but too fizzy. Gets to be pretty nice once the carbonation settles. Started at 3.1, turned into 3.3.
