I acquired this 22 oz bomber on a fall trip to Santa Fe. An Albuquerque friend greatly admires Mable Brewery so let's have a go at the imperial stout. Tilted into the ABGB tulip glass I like for stouts it arrives tuxedo black accompanied by a here-and-gone beige head. Taking a smell I detect vanilla, chocolate and black toast. Then for a sip. Geez, really fine. Dark chocolate for sure, caramel, red plum, some woodiness. Nice hint of sweetness and a strong hit of bitterness at the finish. Very thick, chewy. Definitely an indication of the 11% abv by its burn. Kudos Marble. I am a fan now also.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that last. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Medium mouth with rich malt, dark chocolate, nuts, nice booze and bitter finish, very good.

Bottle from brewery. Average pour and normal RIS aromas lead into a big roast grain taste, sharp bit at the finish. Nice blend of roast grains, burnt toast with hints of chocolate. Smooth and light bodied, but tasty, and fulfilling.

22 Oz bottle. Huge thanks to Terminus for the bottle! Pours a thick jet black with a tan foam head. Huge, rich chocolate aroma. Caramel malt, chocolate heavy, and oak flavor throughout. Stand out imperial stout for sure. Awesome!

Bomber from Belmont. Pours a pitch black color with a small beige head. A big sweet roast nose. Cocoa, lactose, licorice, dry heavy roast is dominant. Dark fruit and some ash. Very big, very good. Reminds me a bit of a Scandinavian stout, more on the drier side compared to many impys. Nice.

Tap @ Marble Santa Fe. Pours a black appearance with a small, dark brown head. Big roasty dark chocolate malty, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, delicious aroma. A bit boozy, big chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, rich caramel, toffee, a bit woody flavor. Fuck yeah.
