12oz bottle. Orange-tan body, slight haze. Foamy, soapy, patchy head. Straightforward tame malt aroma. A pretty boring beer, boring malts but still hanging heavy on the palate. Not much hop character, boring soapy faintness. An odd caramel amber thing going on too...a touch of butter. Not good.

Bottle. Black tea malt and light fruit aroma. Hazy orange amber with a small off-white head, moderate lacing. Slightly toasty tea-like malt flavor, no significant hops presence. .. but I still like it. Light body, soft carbonation. Very sessionable.

Tap @ Schlafly St. Louis. Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Toasted malty, light citrusy, light piney aroma. Sweet, toasted malty, light caramel, slightly bitter, bland hoppy flavor. Boring.

Good, solid pale ale. Nothing complex or fancy, but there is nothing to find fault with. It is a nice beer that I would drink if I want a pale ale or good examples in other styles were not available.

12oz bottle from Pickβs poured into an English Pint. Bottled on 8/4/11. Pours a rust orange with a little bit of white head. Aroma of citrus hops and some sweet malt. Taste is lightly bitter. Light bodied with a thin yet creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a short but bitter finish. Overall, very good beer. A great beer for the hot dog days of summer.

Purchased at the Schlafly Tap Room in St Louis, MO; enjoyed during the afternoon of an oppressively hot Saturday during 4th of July weekend, sitting on my back porch. Appearance is a slightly clear dark amber with a frothy white head. Aroma mostly of toasted malt with a hint of hops in the back. Taste also a bit more on the malty side, not really noticing the hops, kinda has a weird, slightly tart aftertaste but really that part is very faint. Itβs not bad but Iβve definitely had better from this brewery.

The Big Hunt, DC tap ($6): Orange color with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, along with a nice amount of sugary malts. Taste balances the sweetness with the hop bitterness. Although this is an EPA, it really goes on the American side of things. Well-balanced and plenty sessionable, but not really outstanding in any way.

bottle, thanks Creedon, pours caramel brown with a medium off white head. Aroma is nutty with notes of toffee and sweet bread malts. Flavor is rich and malty, sweet caramel, touches of honey and a light finish of earthen hops. Pretty easy drinker.
