What makes Resurrection unique is the 2 months of aging in fresh Bourbon Barrels, the barrels contribute a warm, smooth flavor that comes from the bourbon soaked oak. Louie’s Resurrection has a copper/amber hue with a sweet apricot and malt aroma. Caramel, vanilla, bourbon, and some roasted malt flavor are well balanced.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered amber-red body. Steady off-white head. The aroma is nice and subtle. Caramel, vanilla, fruity amber malt. A pretty decent beer, really lets the oak chips shine. Rich bourbon, vanilla tinged. Burnt caramel. Well executed, very drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Murky brown color, small bright tan head. Aroma of vanilla, lightly toasted caramel. Taste is bourbon above all else, masking the beer a bit. But otherwise smooth, fruity, boozy..
