Sample at the tap room. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of peppery yeast and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of spices and pepper, herbal hops and malt. The finish is spicy with a peppery aftertaste. Decent all around.

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal notes, toasted malts and a strong peppery note. The taste is very much the same. The pepperiness isnβt hot, but very strong. Medium bodied. Not sure I could drink a full pour of this.

Maple nose. Clear amber, thin head. Lemongrass initially. Finishes with fireball heat without the flavor of cinnamon, not even like hot peppers. Well done, which isnβt easy for what this beer is.

Draft at the source, courtesy of staff, thank you! Hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma is very peppery. Just enough pepper in the taste without overwhelming. Has some saison characteristics. Not bad.
