Helles is built with Pilsner and Vienna malts made from the German-grown Barke heirloom barley variety, which lends to complex yet subtle flavors of bread crust and malt sweetness. Crisp, clean and easy drinking with a minimal noble hop presence.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head and flowing carbonation. Aroma is a clean bready malt. Flavor is the same clean malt a bitter hop bite on the back end. I don't know about helles but this is a pretty decent lager.
