Appearance: semi-opaque light amber, generous head of off-white bubbles, dissipating to 2-3mm. Palate: light-bodied and quite astringent, fizzy carbonation; it ends on a dry note. Taste: lightly sweet; the astringency masks any fruit flavour, but that’s redeemed by the refreshing Alka-Selzer finish.
