Strong Scotch ale brewed with Lactose. We start with pale ale, Munich, brown and caramel malts. Then we pump a barrel to the kettle and burn it until it caramelizes. Then we top it off with another 15 bbls of liquid boil it and add lactose (milk sugar) for even more body and sweetness. The result is a sweet and super complex ale like nothing we’ve had before.

Cask at the source. Clear dark maroon, fluffy tan head. Aroma of burnt and carmelized brownies. Taste is sweet and malty with bitter cocoa powder.

Growler. Smoky earthy malt, dark fruit, and oak aroma. Chestnut with a miniimal head. Sweet smoky malt, oaky vanilla flavor. Medium to full body, dry finish. Great smooth malty flavor.

Draft (growler). Lactose and chocolate and raisin malt aroma. Dark brown with small head. Sweet milk chocolate malt flavor with bitter alcohol finish. Nicely blended and smooth. Very tasty - love the malt in this.
