What started as a one-off project with the Bellingham Sister City Association (BSCA) has grown into a beer we look forward to every spring. Tateyama, named after our sister city in Japan, is a rice lager brewed with organic California kokuho rose rice from Koda Farms. Their rice provides a delicate, clean, and soft graininess that sweeps the hop flavors across the tongue. With flavors of jasmine, honeydew, and honeysuckle, this beer just screams spring. As we enter into the longer days and begin spending more time outdoors, we're happy to have Tateyama in our pack or in the fridge.

Can from Total Wine in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours clear light gold with a slight white head. Aroma of rice and light citrus. Near med body. Dry. Nicely bitter. Flavor is rice with floral, citrus and a little spice. Pretty nice.
