Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was light citrus and bread. The flavor was tart and citric with touches of bread, must, chalk and perfume. Medium length finish. Medium body. Eh.

Bottle. Poured clear gold with an amber hue and an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of sweet grains and biscuit with a slight floral and spice note. Flavor was similarly over sweet with biscuit and grain with a bit of spice and flower coming through.

Pour is a bright golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and bready. Flavor is sweet, fruity and a bit dusty. Light finish and nothing really lasting after the swallow. Probably average for the style but it has its qualities.

33 cl bottle - Pours golden with a two finger white head. It has a light aroma of bready malt with fruit undertones. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a light but not watery body. It’s a pleasant and enjoyable session brew.

Had the pleasure of sampling this at the 1/27/2008 Pittsburgh ratebeer.com gathering and festival upstairs, Sharp Edge Creekhouse. It will be a long time, if ever I am invited again and I see a spread of bottles like I did there - ever again. I am not good enough for the beers that were that we sampled! For example, how about this beer from yinzer! Blonde beer de Garde. Sweeter fruity aroma, but not over the top like so many stronger beers. Slight haze to an otherwise pale yellow color and appearance. Mild carbonation. Not bad an not overly bitter. Glad to have had the chance to sample this brew, thanks Mark!

750 ml bottle from Corti Bros., Sacramento. LIght citrus and berries in the aroma, along with lightly roasted, toffee?, malt. Orange tinged golden color with a white head that collapsed. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor starts with light caramel, berry and citrus fruits, and light hot spice notes. Ok, it’s also a tad earthy. It’s also clean (but not crisp), and very refreshing. The finish is mildly sweet, and there seems to be enough bitter to balance. It’s very pleasant to drink.

Bottle. Light golden beer with a nice whitish head. LIght malty aroma with a bit of spice. Malty flavor - some sweetness in the finish, with a bit of spice and grass. Crisp and refreshing. Doesn’t have a lot of spice and yeast component and borders on a pils. Clean. Not bad.
