cloudy yellow, few debris, giant white head. citrus and pine aroma. flavor: holy smokes it’s bitter. aftertaste is sweeter than bitter. bitter grapefruit, sugar, alc, as the beer warms up it changes character in the flavor. gets more balanced, and the various hop flavors gets noticeable. at this temperature the bitter grapefruit is almost gone, and you got yourself a well balanced dry, sweet, powerful IPA. great!

(Bottle at SOPP2008) Pale amber. Small white head. Hops and alcohol in nose. Full dry and alcoholic palate. Salty liquorice, hops, alcohol and sweetness in taste. Bitterness hits surprisingly lightly.

Hazy orange amber; minimum head. Oranges, kumquat and biscuit, as well as sweet-ish and cheesy (running cheese). Again very cheesy taste, with a small bitterish vector - nettle cheese? Mouthfeel is more carbonated than visually suggested; medium bodied at best. not as hoppy as expected, but probably served a bit too warm.

220ml draught at Lord Nelson. Slightly hazy, brown body with a patch on the surface. Both smell and taste have got a rather heavy hoppy character with lots of bitter citrus fruits. Dry and lingering bitter ending. Masked alcohol and full bodied, but a bit over the top. According the the drinking menu this one has got 8.6%ABV - anyway a solid night cup to finish our second day in wonderful Copenhagen (29.05.2008).
