Bottle thx to HenrikS, 2010-07-03, Göteborg AR. a bit sour, red berries, american hops AP: amber, 5 cm high organic head creamy and lively F: smokey?, great bitterness, light fudgey, is this one good or bad? - OK good, oily texture

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Pine, carameal and grapefruit feature in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and slightly tangy taste with notes of grapefruit, dried fruit and caramel. The finish is fruity and pleasantly bitter.

Bottle. Pours amber with a filmy, off-white head. Light citrus hop aroma. Flavor is pretty sweet, with lightly roasted malts, some caramel. Very dank bitterness, some resin, some overripe orange citrus. Kindy sweaty and musty. Medium bodied, a little syrupy, mildly throat-burning. Not bad overall. Very different from American DIPAs.

On cask at the Whole Foods / CCB Cask Event. pours cloudy amber, white head. Aroma and flavors, light piney and bittering hops, mouthfeel keeps a nice balance of some citrus, pine elements with a mild malty finish. Easy drinker and rather simple DIPA, the 8.5 abv is just subtle and enjoyable.

On cask at the Whole Foods / CCB Cask Event. It pours brown – amber with slight haze and thin white head. The aroma is sweet with oak, sweet malts, crystal malts and some pine hoppiness. The taste is smooth malts, a little bit of aged oak and moderate pine hop flavor moving into pine hop bitterness. Into the finish it gets a bit earthy and spicy with malts that seem to go against the rest of the flavor. It does come together pretty nicely into the finish.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a large white head and a hazy yellow body. Aroma of stilton, orange hops, and caramel. Taste is hoppy and floral. Lively carbonation with a water like mouthfeel.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Midlothian on 08/29/2008. Hazy golden orange body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet citrus and floral hop aroma with some very light caramel and fruit. Sweet sugary fruit flavor with a background of floral hops and some belgian candi sugar and spice, Citrus hops seem to shine through as the beer warms. Medium full body with moderately high carbonation.
