A collaboration brew with Megan Parisi, acclaimed Brewster of the much anticipated Bluejacket Brewery to be located near Nationals Park. The malt bill for this strong brew includes imported German Pilsener, Munich, Aromatic, Wheat and others to contribute to the malt backbone and mouth feel. Both kettle hop additions of German Perle and Hersbrucker hops were restrained to allow the malt and yeast notes to prevail. Its reddish hue and fluffy white foam head in the glass recreate the beauty of this Munich specialty beer. Fresh bready yeast notes, banana ester fruitiness and earthy clove spiciness combine with a light citrus peel flavor and a very complex flavor experience. Prosit!

Cask. Cloudy amber brown color, thin white head. Aroma of lightly spiced banana bubblegum. Taste is spiced and slightly sour brown bread. Nice.Earlier Rating: 10/20/2012 Total Score: 3.6Draft. Murky variegated golden amber, scant edge head. Aroma of mai tai bubblegum, really interesting. Taste is slightly sour and bitter lemon and brown bread. Nice.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Malty nose. Sweet banana and spicy clove flavors with a bitter finish. Quite nice.

Draft at Snallygaster Beer Fest in Washington DC. Poured a really muddy, cloudy light brown color, with a small light-tan head. Aroma was sweet malts, some dark fruits in there as well. Flavor was sweet, dark fruits, malts. Pretty enjoyable.
