Astra Primursa is the third release in the Dry Hop series. This blend of one, two, three, and four year old mixed-fermentation barrels is a collision of two worlds: old world East Kent Goldings and new world Amerillo. These two wildly different hops meld delightfully to dry hop this beer. The result is juicy grapefruit, topical starfruit, and marmalade hop character balanced by a full, round texture and medium-high acidity. We hope you like it!

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of floral dry-hopping, some lemony notes, barnyard funk, and wild yeast. Flavour has a wonderful floral English dry-hopping, barnyard funk, and oak. Wonderfully blended, oaky, hoppy finish. Excellent.

Poured from 375mL bottle (2022 vintage; pkg 2022-06-29). Hazed yellow gold with small white head. Oak, dry-hop grapefruit character, light funk, very feint Kent Golding notes.

375mL bottle. Pours hazy blonde with a small head. Nice funk, musty, grassy hopping, a bit dry, some citrus. Flavour is funky, musty, nice grassy hops, plenty of citrus character. Moderate complexity and very enjoyable.
