Draft. Clear dark amber color, tan head. Aroma of burnt toast and caramel. Taste is sweet, smokey burnt toast.

(7/3/08) Draught at the brewpub in Munich. Dark brown color with a medium pinkish-beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, some caramel and maybe some butterscotch notes. Sweetish and malty flavor at first with some toastiness and a rather dry finish with hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. Not really a Pilsener.
