Against our better judgment, Milklörd is here.
We took Milkpond, our beautiful Munich-Style Helles collab with our buddies at @littlelagerstl, and aged a small amount in a @jeppsonsmalort barrel.
I know, it’s ridiculous, why would you do this to a great beer?!? I get it, Malört doesn’t have a good track record, it’s famously polarizing!
We’re genuinely sorry about what we’ve done to this innocent lager.

Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is a little different. Suggested smoke at first, but then absinthe came to mind. Med body. Seems dry. Flavor is quite different. I'll go with absinthe/wormwood. Maybe some real wood too. Recommended for a different flavor!
