Once we discovered Bereta Beer Co. from Giarmata, Romania, we knew we had to have more. Bereta Beer co ("Bere" is the word for Beer in Romanian) and was started in 2018 as a hop forward and fruit forward brewery. They've recently been blowing up on the European beer circuit, so we decided to invite them to collaborate with us on a beer for the collab tent at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, WI, USA.
Shared Roots is a hazy IPA that essentially blends a little of the most common hazy at Amorphic, and similar at Bereta. Some standards from Bereta were used, and some techniques from Amorphic were used. We even had to use some hops we usually don't allow, but that's what collaborations are all about!
This beer pours a very light yellow completely opaque haze, and is bursting with flavors of pineapple, coconut, and complex tropical citrus. El Dorado, Dolicta (HBC-1019), and Freestyle Rakau.

Tap at Amorphic. Opaque peach body. Glass lacing white head. A little oaty, rich without much flavor. The hops are nice enough, a good combination, but nothing really jumps out at you. Good.
