Downtown Sounds West Coast IPA is a limited release brewed exclusively for Downtown Sounds (a community music event in July & August by The Downtown Bellingham Partnership). This WCIPA’s heavy setlist of hops headlined by Cryo Mosaic, Citra, and El Dorado reverberate fruity aromas of peach rings, citrus, and dried apricot. Its moderate bitterness harmonizes into a smooth, refreshing coda, leaving you ready for the encore. Enjoy it on draft at the brewery and in the Downtown Sounds Beer Garden.

On tap at Boundary on State, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has some bitter pine and crisp biscuity malt—not hugely evocative. Flavour is assertively bitter, with big bitter spruce pine, citrus zest, and a crisp, dry biscuity malt base. Super bitter, dry, and punchy. Only for old school hopheads. Excellent.
