Tap at the Gingerman, thanks to James for the pour, 18/05/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose is tarte fruits, sugars, touch of booze. Taste comprises apricot, peach, lightly soured fruit tones, light spice, touch of booze soaked wood but couldn’t pick out tequila! Full bodied, fine carbonation. Decent enough BA Belgian, plenty of depth to the flavours.

On draft at Churchkey DC on innauguration night. Pours a cloudy gd with a thick off white head. Yeast aroma reminiscent of paste. Wonderfully smooth mouthfeel with hints of caramel and toffee. Slightly bitter finish.

Belgian Beer Fest Boston. Murky amber color, small tan head. Aroma of straw, perfume, liquor. Taste is sweet straw at first, with a hot finish. Not bad.
