To celebrate 25 years of The Zone @ 91-3, we’ve partnered with Île Sauvage Brewing to bring you The Zone’s Birthday Brew!

Brewed with barley from Field 5 Farms in Saanichton, and fresh locally-foraged spruce tips from our buddy Lance, this cold pale ale is all about keeping it local.

Fermented with our favourite Thiolized lager yeast, this beer pours crisp and dry with an explosive tropical fruit nose. We then dry-hopped it with Lemondrop and Nelson Sauvin hops alongside fresh spruce tips for layers of citrus, white wine, pine, candy, and juicy tropical character.

Bright, hoppy, crisp, and packed with fruit on the nose and palate, this is the perfect beer to kick off summer.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear pale blonde with full white head. Bland lager base with thiolized yeast character and some nice berry-like spruce tips. The base is below average, the spruce tips, are the only saving grace, bringing it up to an average beer.
