(Keg at Juova, 20260731) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, resin, pine and lightly molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were resin, toffee, caramel, grass, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste and pine, resin, toffee and bitterness. A tasty hoppy brew with very sharp bitterness.

Draft at Leskinen, Oulu. OK so a double West Coast stylee. Clear copper gold. Foamy white head. Aroma has relatively light bitterness over a savoury porridge base. Flavourwise it's more interesting. Tart sour citrus and resin bitterness with extra nettles. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation provides buoyancy. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy, yeah. Like a man who thinks his schlager is going to be interrupted.
