Cherries Jubilee began with our bochet mead, crafted from caramelized honey that brings warm notes of toasted marshmallow and roasted nuts. After aging it for 10 months in whisky barrels, we deepened its caramel richness and added a subtle smokiness. Fresh off crafting our Cherry Grove mead, cherries were still top of mind so we blended our aged bochet with tart local cherries, maple syrup, and Heeman’s Blueberry Blossom Honey. The result? A delightful mead that captures the indulgent flavours of a classic cherries jubilee, transformed from dessert plate to glass.
