Cooked at 70 is a hazy New England IPA brewed with Hudson Valley Pale and Pilsner malts, plus white wheat for a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Generous whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra, Cascade, Simcoe, and Mosaic create bold aromas of pineapple, stone fruit, citrus, and classic dank hop character, finishing juicy, smooth, and remarkably drinkable. Its name is a nod to one of the North Country's most memorable events, the 2015 manhunt following the escape of David Sweat and Richard Matt from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora. It honors IPA lover, NYSP Sgt. Jay Cook, whose role in capturing David Sweat inspired this beer's name. It's a local story, a local beer, and a toast to North Country history.
