This is a collaboration with Alpine Beer Company. Amarillo, Columbus, Simcoe and Centennial hops bring bitterness to the forefront, balanced with Pale, C-80 and Carapils malts. The tropical and citrus tones of the American hops dominate the flavor of the copper-colored beer.

Bottle in hotel room prior to flight to Vienna. Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is soft and airy but with sharp carbonation. Creamy malt. Resinous pine with mellow citrus. Mild aniseed and salty brett. Trace of fresh orange peel. Finishes soft and semi dry with a spicy aftertaste. Pretty good.

Hazy, yellow-gold, frothy, slightly yellow-white head. Aroma is reminiscent of citronella. Taste is almost syrupy citrus sweetness. A little different aroma and feel from a DIPA...slightly spiced. Pretty good.

From the February 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish pineapple, tropical fruits and sugar. The flavor was sweet and yeasty with notes of pineapple, tropical fruits and sugar and touches of pepper and herbal hops underneath. Long finish of pineapple , tropical fruits, sugar and yeast. Moderately full bodied. Excellent.

Bomber. Pours a rich golden color with a nice creamy off white head. Aromas of orange, maybe tangerine (not grapefruit!) hops, some malt, and some funky cat piss? Dont be scared. Sweet citrus and pine hoppiness stand out. Add a little malt and spice to round things out. Medium mouthfel, somewhat slick. Nice.

Bottle. Deep yellow body with a frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of toasted grain, resin, sugar, soap. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, creamy texture turning syrupy, lively carbonation. Lots of resinous hops that overshadow anything else that might be in this beer. Too sweet, rough, alcoholic in the finish.

This beer pours a clear pale orange color with a medium thick white head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing. The aroma consists of citrus and toasted malt. Medium to full body with flavors of hops, zesty citrus and malt undertones. Finishes moderately bitter with a grapefruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
