Real Louisiana satsumas, golden wheat and the finest barley create Satsuma Harvest Wit. Pale and cloudy, like the haze on a hot summer day, this white beer has a sweet and subtle citrus flavor that is cool and refreshing. Abita Satsuma Harvest Wit is a summertime brew that’s Louisiana True.

12oz bottle–pours a big white head that laces and hazy/cloudy straw color. Aroma is rich wheat/light malt, peach, coriander. Very hearty. Taste is tart lemon, wheat, metallic/spice-coriander. Lighter than expected from aroma. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing.

Bottle was $1.50 for a single at Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aromas of sour grass and garbage water which is only saved slightly by a hint of spice. Flavors of grass, some spice (cinnamon and pepper)

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Glen Allen, VA. Pours a hazy peach color with a medium head and good head retention and lacing. Went away for 20 minutes and there’s still a good finger of head. Aroma is very bready with citrus and caramel notes. Taste is bready with sweet citrus notes and a bit of spice. Medum bodied. Pleasant but not very complex.

12oz shorty bottle. Thick yellow orange, with a fluffy white head. The aroma is all Satsuma, lots of tangy citrus. Tangy orange taste as well, with some pleasant wheat to smooth it out. There is also some vanilla in the aftertaste. Overall a pretty good White beer, exceeding my expectations.
