Draught at MacGregors. Brow-orange color, fine low head. Very fruity nose; cherry, orange, lemon. Very fruity flavor of cherry, orange, pineapple, grape. Earthy hops, some pine, nice bitterness. A strange but good fruitiness. Good beer.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a mahogany colored body that leaves a one finger white foamy head that concaves into the body within about twenty seconds.
The smell is based around some citrus and floral yet somewhat sweet hops. Some light malty oatiness comes out as the beer warms.
The taste takes the smells and adds a nice sweet yet somewhat bitterness.
The palate sits about a medium sort of feel indicating a great balance of wateriness to thickness. This is fairly sessionable.
Overall, though the beer has some nice qualities that are different for the style, it is still good for the style and good enough for me to have some more.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Clear deep golden-copper coloer. Nice hoppy aroma with overripe fruits, citrus and a bit of maltiness. Flavoe has some sweetish malt, a caramelly touch, citric hops with a piney note and a nice moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy orange copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, orange zest, lemon zest, pear, apple, caramel, biscuit, oats, floral, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, orange zest, pear, caramel, biscuit, toffee, oats, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, orange zest, pineapple, pear, caramel, biscuit, oats, toffee, floral, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice amber ale. Good balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Clear amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, light pine, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Caramel and hops in the flavor. A bit more bitter than amber ales, but not a big hop display that’s promised.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 7/2/13

Aroma: The nose of this one is fairly hoppy, with mostly tropical/citrus fruits
Appearance: It pours a dark orangish-red color with a foamy beige head and plenty of lace
Flavor: The taste is medium-plus bitter, with some underlying sweet notes to it
Palate: Medium bodied, has a somewhat creamy feel, a little stickiness, and lively carbonation
Overall Impression: This is pretty nice hopped-up red. I didn't find the oatmeal to be particularly noticeable. The finish is just a hint off, which hurts the drinkability a bit, but overall, this is a solid, hoppy red.

Bomber: Pours amber-red with a frothy, light tan head. Aroma is floral, light oatmeal. Taste is like an APA, a little peel and pine, Steady herbal/leafy bitter....nut, wood. Not what I expected, but not bad.
