Sample at GABF 10/10/2025, thanks to Beer Savant for assistance with note-taking. Brown-black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Oak, malt, chocolate and vanilla aromas. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon, chocolate malt and vanilla flavor, along with some spice in the background. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
