Location: Updating with a 12 oz bottle from State Line, 11/10/12
Aroma: Sweet and malty nose, caramel, nuts, roast, bread, and earthy notes
Appearance: It pours a dark amber color with a small beige head
Flavor: The taste is not super sweet, its a little roasty and bread, with a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a tingly feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: Overall, my rating isn't going to change much. I had the score just about right here, though I feel the nose could go up a drop score-wise, and the palate may have been better on draft.
3.1: 7/3/6/3/12
Location: Tap at the Brewpub, Harrisburg location, 6/13/10
Aroma: It has a moderately sweet nose with notes of caramel and malts
Appearance: Dark amber colored beer
Flavor: The taste is malty as well, almost no hop presence
Palate: The most notable part of palate is the smoothness of it
Overall Impression: This was a solid beer, nothing too exciting, but it is decently well-made. Very smooth and drinkable. Solid stuff.

Bottle thanks to travita. Pours with a small, off-white head and a bronze body. Aroma of dust, caramel, fruity esters. Taste is fruity, dusty, raisins. Light bubbles.

Bottle at the RB Rochester Gathering, Sept. 09. Thanks, JB. Orange-amber color. Aroam of caramel, chocolate, and dried fruit. Caramel-sweet malty flavor; a bit too sweet. Decent and full-flavored but lacks great balance.

From a bottle at the Bocktown. Mild woody aroma. Color of lighter iced tea. Barely any carbonation. Woodsy taste with slightly burned french fries and perhaps plain deep fried chicken wings. Weirdly different. Easy to like and very acceptable, well mannered.

Bottle. Pour is a nice brown witha two finger head of dense, tan foam. Aromas are of malt, earth and peat and has a fairly sweet nature. Flavor is a watery mixture of the elements that I picked up on in the nose, but the peat finish is nice.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for the bottle - clear reddish brown beer that barely kicks up a head - fairly sweet aroma, with dried fruits and not much else going on - pretty soft mouthfell - not nearly as sweet as the aroma suggests - notes of brown sugar, raisins and molasses - lacking complexity, but tasty enough.

Slightly hazy deep amber body with a very small rapidly diminishing tan head. Sweet caramel aroma. Sweet malty caramel flavor with some light hoppy hints.

Draft at the Gettysburg location, July 2006. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes fo alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet with light notes of caramel and berries, leading to a dry end, that also has light notes of metal and alcohol.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a small white head that lingered and produced nice lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty with a light fruity undertone. The flavor is sweet, malty, lightly roasty, and lightly smoky with a nice fruity presence underneath. The finish was long, malty and fruity. Medium body. Quite nice.
