Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark murky pink color with a two and a half fingers worth of pink to off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet, tart and sour blackberries and a super light note of vanilla and lactose, some yeasty/semi-bready character further underneath
Flavor: sweet, sour and tart mainly through the blackberries and a little bit of yeast; finishes mostly just blackberries and some vanilla
Texture: light to medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; good smoothness; the sour level seems restrained a bit due to the lactose; good carb level
Overall: good blackberry ale with a light sour tone to it.
