Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: ruddy dark pink to mahogany tinted purple-ish hued tone with a two and a half fingers of pink frothy head which settled off at a nice pace to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: black currant tart and sweet character with tangy-ish undertoned scent; red currant sweet and tart rolls in for balance
Flavor: those red and black currants become very expressionable through tart and sweet notes and develop a sour and somewhat tangy accent as the beer warmed; finishes tart, sour and sweet through the black and red currants
Texture: almost medium bodied - maybe a touch under; leaning towards being slightly a sipper as the sour character pushes back against some of the low carb-like vibes
Overall: if you like thick fruited ales but don't mind the ones where it's a bit under on the "thickness" give this one a shot.
