Sneakily balanced, Copperhead Pale Ale has just enough of a hop bite to balance the nutty Golden Promise malt at it's heart. Clean, crisp, and citrusy, it's the classic American Pale.

21/9/2024. Bottle courtesy of Bruno, cheers! Kansas rating #5. Pours clear amber copper with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is piney, orange, butter, caramel, fruit, biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate developing bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Old school elements, quite drinkable.

Bottle from Drew: brownish copper with off white head. Aroma is earthy, malty and caramel with lemon hints. Olde school APA taste and solid for what it is.

12 fl oz bottle from Total Wine, Overland Park, KS. Copper in the glass, slightly cloudy, one finger pale beige head. Looks good. Toasted malt and caramel on the nose, fruitiness in the background. Taste starts on a more roasty malty side, caramel in the second row. Low apple with hints of sweetness. Below average carbonated. Pine and dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Steady off white head. Old school, antiquated APA. Malty, hoppy, no semblance of finesse to be found. Not bad or off, just not that exciting or impressive of an offering. Tastes like 90s Oregon. OK in that regard I suppose.
