This Belgian-style Dubbel was based upon the winning submission by Brad McCarron in the 2026 Coastal Brewing Co Home Brew Competition. Over the last few weeks, together with Brad, we have created a commercial batch of his winning submission. Dark amber / red in colour this Dubbel has just the right amount of rich malty sweetness, dark fruit esters mild spicey phenols and a moderately dry finish. Named 'Redstone' after the name is attributed to the McCarron acreage in the Coolongolook Riverlands estate.

(Can) Pours a lovely deep red with a small tawny head. Great aroma true to style with banana along with clove hints. Great mouthfeel. Medium bodied, soft and smooth with very fine carbonation. Great taste too. A rather tarter fruitier start than I expected. This gives way to rich toffee malt and peppery spice, which carry through to a long finish. Excellent.
