Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grain and a touch of chocolate with a hint of earthy pine underlying. Flavor has a combination of earthy chocolate and pine that grows with a dark grain backbone.
