An experimental black ale made with charred Jeffery Pine needles, branches, and cones. Charcoal black and opaque in appearance, fragrances of roasted chocolate malt with sweet hints of vanillin are reluctantly released from it’s depths. Mild smokey pine characteristics are complimented by sugary burnt marshmallow and dark chocolate flavors. A pleasant aftertaste of scorched cocoa and subtle pine accompany the perfect bitterness that follows. Draft only at the pub.
