Dark copper to lightest brown, semi transparent, translucent if seen through light. Medium sized head, the slightest off-white, quite firm; shows good retention and some lacing. Good enough intensity in the aroma, with a half doughish, half sugary base, notes of caramel, wet wood, perhaps a hint of spiciness, fruity notes of lemon and sweet/golden apple (kind of cider-like apple fruitiness). Taste notes as per aroma, there's quite some sweetness with very delicate sourness and a decently dry finish to bring balance. Quite light bodied, with average, soft carbonation. Quite an easy drinker, with a semi-soft mouthfeel. Quite nice overall.

Bottle, 330 ml at the brewery. Amber with off white head. Some brown sugar, sweetish, light fruit notes, quite smooth.

Bottle from Geers.
A: hazy amber, thin, off-white head.
A: ripe red apple, red grape, brioche, brown sugar.
T: sweet red apple, ripe redcurrant, Napoléon bonbon, brioche.
F: sweet, woody, bit tart, ripe red fruit.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Not bad, it is what it is.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with small white head. Aroma with tangy notes of vinegar and esters. Medium body with good fine carbonation. Starts quite tart but quickly becomes over sweet with toffee and candy flavors. Ok but too sweet.

Amber with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma of apple vinegar and caramel. Taste is moderate sweet overall. The underlying tartness adds a modicum of nuance. Medium and limp body. Interesting. Drinkable.

Bottle at De Blauwe Kater, Leuven. Sweet aroma. Caramel colour like a bitter. Taste is a mix of somewhat funky sour and candy syrup sweet (unsuprising as this is what they added). Not sure about this...almost could have been better without sweetner.
