This English dark mild ale was brewed in collaboration with Country Malt Group to celebrate the World Cup. It features notes of hazelnuts and dark toast with a hint of brown sugar and raisin. Light and dry with a moderate bitterness, it is a highly crushable yet malty and flavorful ale long celebrated in British pub culture.

On tap at Parallel 49. Pours a clear amber. Bready malts on the nose. Flavour has a stale malt character, some dry gras drifting. What's the point of this?

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma reveals unmistakeable English bready malt, a very tepid hop profile, and some fungal notes. Flavour is much the same, with big English bready malt, lots of fungal notes, and very little gops. Remind me of a non-cask version of an English bitter. Pleasant but, as per the style, unexciting.
